Stillness/Movement presents established and Korean American painters, video, and installation artists David B. Jang, Hei Myung C. Hyun, Hyesook Park, and Kakyoung Lee. The exhibition will investigate the ways in which artists draw from cultural precedent to innovate forms, communicate new ideas, and explore intersecting identities. Through hands-on learning elements and audience-friendly interpretation, visitors to Stillness/Movement will leave the exhibition with an appreciation for Korean American contemporary art.

The exhibition is a collaboration between ahha Tulsa and the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles with programmatic support from the Gilcrease Museum.
