The Novus Quartet was founded in 2007, with violinists Jae-young Kim and Young-wook Kim, violist Gyu-hyun Kim, and cellist Woong-hwi as members. They have established a strong fan base both domestically and internationally through their performances, earning praise and acclaim from critics and audiences alike at every concert. In 2014, they became the first Korean chamber ensemble to win the Mozart International Competition, solidifying their reputation on the international stage. In this performance, they will present Respighi's String Quartet Op. 144, Antonin Dvorak 's String Quartet No. 12 in F major Op. 96 "American," and Mendelssohn's String Quartet No. 6 in F minor Op. 80, showcasing their skill and artistry.
