The Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles has launched the 2023 Taekwondo Program with LAUSD’s Beyond the Bell Program for 10 weeks from August 28th to November 3rd.

Since 2010, the Taekwondo Program launched as part of the Taekwondo Promotion Foundation’s Taekwondo Overseas Revitalization Project. This year, 1,200 students at 14 schools participated.

For 10 weeks, this program taught students to train their strength and minds through Taekwondo’s basic Poomsae, self-discipline, and courtesy. Each school held a Taekwondo Showcase for students to fully demonstrate their Taekwondo skills such as Poomsae, board-breaking, and kicking in front of teachers and parents.

The Taekwondo Program of Korean Cultural Center, Los Angeles is significantly contributing to promoting the distinction of Taekwondo’s spirit and wisdom to nations all around the world.
