The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (Director Sangwon Jung) will host a "Sac on Screen - Special Screening Event for Performing Arts Content" at the KCCLA Ari Hall.


This event is part of the 'SAC on Screen' project, where selected artistic content curated by the Seoul Arts Center will be presented on a large screen for the audience to enjoy. Started in 2013, SAC on Screen aims to make outstanding Korean performing arts content more accessible beyond the constraints of time and distance, allowing people to experience the vivid expressions and gestures of artists. This three (3) screening event, taking place in January, February, and March, offers a chance to appreciate high-quality performances across various genres.


'Chamber Music Concert' on Thursday, January 25th at 7:00 pm


This work captures a live concert held at the former residence of President Yun Boseon in Anguk-dong, Seoul. Set against the backdrop of blooming spring flowers, the video features beautiful classical melodies performed by chamber musicians. As part of the Seoul Chamber Music Festival program led by violinist Kang Dong-seok as artistic director, the audience can experience performances by renowned Korean classical musicians such as Piano Duo Shinpark, Ji-young Moon, Kyu-hee Park, and the Novus Quartet.


Hurrah of the Women Play on February 15th (Thursday) at 7:00 pm


The play "Hurrah of the Women" explores the intriguing and thrilling three-month cohabitation of a 70-year-old woman named 'Yeoja Lee' who becomes a lodger in a house where a mean mother-in-law and obedient daughter-in-law live. The work poignantly depicts the meaning of family and love discovered amidst the struggles of life, resonating with audiences of all ages and genders by presenting profound reflections. The play features the efforts and emotions of characters facing the challenges of life.

'Giselle' Ballet on March 7th (Thursday) at 7:00 pm


The Universal Ballet's 'Giselle' is a top-notch romantic ballet that showcases refined skills in classical ballet and exquisite choreography. Alongside 'Swan Lake,' it forms a robust audience base, achieving an unprecedented 'sold-out' status for all seats during its performance at the Seoul Arts Center Opera Theater.
