The Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA) & Korean Artists Association of Southern California (KAASC) proudly present the '56th Annual Exhibition of Korean Artists Association of Southern California', opening with a reception on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the KCCLA Art Gallery (5505 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036).
This year’s exhibition, held under the theme “Unity in Diversity,” celebrates the KAASC’s long-standing dedication to fostering artistic dialogue and cross-cultural connection. Seventy association artists will present a dynamic range of works?including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, and mixed media?demonstrating the diversity of creative expression within the Korean American artistic community.
Founded in 1964, the Korean Artists Association of Southern California has played a vital role in promoting cultural exchange and harmony between Korea and other ethnic communities. Through initiatives such as juried student exhibitions and Korean-American collaborative shows, the association has actively encouraged the next generation of artists. Over the years, the inclusion of younger artists has brought renewed energy and innovation to the group, blending fresh perspectives with traditional forms.
The exhibition is free and open to the public and will remain on view through June 6, 2025.
