Originating from a rhythm where gongs are struck seven times in one beat, Chilchae combines traditional rhythms with modern Korean dance in a vibrant and energetic performance. It was highly praised during its 2018 premiere for its "rock concert-like energy" and being "delightfully entertaining without a dull moment."
