Since 2008, the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles has organized "The Korean Culture Experience Workshop for LAPD," conducted as part of the LA Korean Cultural Center's Expert Group Special Lecture Series. More than 2,100 police officers in Los Angeles have participated in 56 workshops.

The workshop is held four to five times a year, where LA County police officers engage in various activities, including lectures on topics such as "Korean History: Past and Present," "Overview of Korean American History and Community," and "Understanding Korean Society and Culture." Participants also experience cultural activities such as tasting Korean food and watching a Taekwondo demonstration.

This workshop has helped police officers in the Los Angeles County area broaden their understanding of Korean culture and Korean American society, while also providing an opportunity for better mutual understanding between Korean Americans and law enforcement officers.
